Following the tremendous success of their sold-out "One For The Road" tour in Australia and New Zealand, the finger-picking quartet, The Dead South, is making a triumphant return to the Down Under with a series of headline shows in 2024.

The Dead South's unique blend of banjo, mandolin, cello, and guitar may evoke the image of bluegrass traditionalists, but their origins in the Canadian prairies and diverse influences, encompassing elements of finger-picking and punk, set them apart. Hailing from outside the traditional bluegrass realm due to their geographical background, The Dead South has forged their own path to success. They initially garnered a global following through YouTube, achieved early recognition in German rock clubs, and have now performed to sold-out crowds at renowned venues on multiple continents. This is not your typical domain for old-time string purists.
