TV Girl presents a charming blend of ‘60s French pop and southern California soul on the surface. However, beneath this bright exterior lies a darker essence infused with sharp wit and cynical detachment, adding an intriguing depth to their music. Founded in 2010 by Brad Petering as a creative avenue to fuse Spector-esque girl-group pop with a newfound fascination for hip-hop, TV Girl consists of Petering, Jason Wyman, and Wyatt Harmon.

Their self-titled debut EP, released in the same year, quickly captured attention online with its shimmering vocals, sampled beats, and captivating vintage rhythms. Even the BBC took notice, as TV Girl's timeless pop hooks began to make waves in the music scene.
