Brooks & Dunn

One of the most celebrated duos in country music history, Brooks & Dunn dominated the genre across the 1990s and into the 2000s with a sound that blended hard-edged honky-tonk with radio-friendly country polish. Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn brought complementary voices and songwriting sensibilities together to create a catalogue that became the backbone of a generation of country radio.

Their success was remarkable by any measure. They accumulated an extraordinary run of number one hits, earned multiple Country Music Association Awards including Duo of the Year honours across many consecutive years, and became one of the best-selling country acts of their era.

After disbanding, the duo returned to performing together, most notably as part of the Las Vegas residency circuit that has become a landmark destination for country music in recent years. That revival cemented their standing not just as nostalgic favourites but as artists whose recorded work continues to define what classic 1990s country sounds like at its best.
