Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Queen of Tickets ("we", "us") collects, uses, stores and discloses your personal information when you use www.queenoftickets.com. We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
You can browse much of the site without giving us personal information. To create an account, place an order, or get support, we collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, billing address, and details needed to source and deliver your tickets.
When you visit the site we also automatically collect technical information, including your IP address, browser and device details, pages viewed, and referring website address.
If you join a waitlist, we collect your email and event preferences only to notify you when tickets for that event become available. Joining a waitlist does not sign you up to marketing, and you can remove yourself at any time through your account.
How we use it
We use your information to process and fulfil orders, verify your identity and prevent fraud, take payment, provide customer support, operate and improve the site, and, where you've opted in, send you marketing about upcoming events.
We may contact you by email, SMS or phone with important updates about your order, ticket delivery, event changes, or waitlist availability. These are service messages, not marketing.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and analytics tools to understand how the site is used and to improve it. This includes lightly sampled session recording, which captures a small proportion of visits to help us identify problems. Sensitive fields such as payment details are masked. You can opt out at any time by contacting us or adjusting your browser settings.
Service providers and overseas disclosure
We use trusted third-party providers to run the site, including for payments, hosting, analytics and error monitoring. These providers only handle your information to provide their service to us. We do not sell your information or share it for others' marketing.
Most of our infrastructure is located in Australia. Some providers, including our payment, analytics and monitoring partners, process data overseas, primarily in the United States. By using the site, you consent to this. We take reasonable steps to ensure these providers protect your information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles. A list of our specific providers is available on request.
Payments
Card payments are processed securely by our PCI-compliant payment providers. We do not collect or store your full card details.
How we protect and keep your information
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, though no system is completely secure. We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. Financial records are generally retained for up to seven years.
Your rights
You can ask us to access or correct your personal information at any time, and we'll respond within a reasonable time (usually within 14 days for straightforward requests). You can also request deletion of your account, and we'll remove your account and associated data within 90 days, except where we're required by law to retain certain records.
Changes and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, and changes take effect when published here. For any questions, requests or complaints, contact us at support@queenoftickets.com.
