About
Bush is a British post-grunge band formed in London in 1992 by lead vocalist Gavin Rossdale. Despite marginal success in the UK, they became massive in the US, selling over 10 million records with their multi-platinum 1994 debut album, Sixteen Stone. The band broke up in 2002, but Rossdale reunited a revamped lineup in 2010.
Named after the Shepherd's Bush area of London, the original lineup consisted of Rossdale, lead guitarist Nigel Pulsford, bassist Dave Parsons, and drummer Robin Goodridge. Following the breakup in 2002, Rossdale explored solo work before relaunching Bush in 2010. As of 2026, the lineup features Rossdale, guitarist Chris Traynor, bassist Corey Britz, and drummer Nik Hughes.
