Fleet Foxes

Formed in the mid-2000s, Fleet Foxes emerged from the indie folk scene with a sound that felt genuinely unlike anything else happening at the time. Built around layered vocal harmonies, fingerpicked acoustic guitars, and arrangements that draw on baroque pop and early American folk traditions, their music has a rich, almost painterly quality that rewards close listening.
