Austin Richard Post, known professionally as Post Malone, is an American singer, rapper, songwriter, record producer, and actor born on July 4, 1995, in Syracuse, New York.Raised in Grapevine, Texas, he developed an interest in music early on—his father, a former DJ, introduced him to a wide variety of genres including country, hip-hop, and rock.
Post Malone’s rise to prominence began in 2015 when he released his debut single, "White Iverson," which went viral and reached the top 20 on the US Hot 100.Following this success, he signed a recording contract with Republic Records.His debut studio album, (2016), solidified his status as a major artist, featuring the diamond-certified hit "Congratulations".
